A Glam Slam this Winter at House of Bubbles
Dine, drink and disco underneath the mirror ball at House of Bubbles, a dreamy pop-up exuding glamour and good times for 2021’s party season. Who doesn’t love the thought of an evening spent with the gang tasting carefully chosen champagnes and sparkling wines with a relaxed pairing food menu, accompanied by a disco soundtrack. House of Bubbles opens Nov 19th at Crow Street, Dublin 2 through to the end of December 2021.
Award winning sommelier Cathryn Bell says “Champagne and sparkling wines make for some of the most fun and mind-blowing food pairing wines, but we don’t have to reserve them for a fancy menu and gourmet cooking – quite the opposite! In fact Champagne and sparkling wines are incredible pairings for much more casual affairs, from pork belly to fish and chips and everything in between! Come and experience the magic of these wines with a casual menu and a disco soundtrack, for a glam, fun, feel-good evening with your friends!”
The 3 course set menu will include a selection of hors d’oeuvres to pair to Raventós I Blance De Nit 2018, a twist on some classic comfort mains with Champagne Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV before finishing with some sweet treats and savoury bites with Domaine Renardat-Fache’s Cerdon du Bugey 2020.
The new days of disco are here! A soundtrack from the likes of Diana Ross to Barry White, from NYC producers like Masters At Work and Danny Krivit, brings music front and centre to this decadent night out. Harping back to the heady days of glamorous Dublin, House of Bubbles will merge music, food, drinks, photography, and an all-round fabulous atmosphere into one night to remember. How to dress? Up!
House Of Bubbles will also be showcasing an array of photographs from Dublin photographer Leon Farrell. The photographs, all shot around Dublin city centre in the hedonistic 90s, include Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, Bono and Ali Hewson, Mr Pussy and Gavin Friday, Helena Christensen, Eva Herzigová and Christy Turlington. This is the first time these photos are on display.
The venue itself will be dressed to party, so expect some late 70s / early 80s NYC club nods to compliment the already beautifully designed Crow Street restaurant and bar.
Ground floor at House of Bubbles is the place to put a glass and plate down while making memories with friends, accompanied by a specially selected soundtrack making it an evening to savour. While upstairs is a hang out, sipping cocktails and continuing the fun after leaving the table.
Conceptualised with a passion for originality, House of Bubbles is the latest concept from creative consultant / DJ Anthony Remedy following on from the hugely successful Back To Dine chef collaboration project.
