Wellness That Works!

Thrive Festival is a brand-new bespoke fitness, wellness and food festival brought to you by the team behind Taste of Dublin. Taking place on March 30th & 31st in The Convention Centre Dublin, it will make you do things differently this Spring.

You will hear from the coolest change-makers who are passionate about leading us in how to live a healthier and happier life. Sample fitness classes, healthy food, and new well-being trends at Thrive Festival this March.  At Thrive Festival we will be exploring wellness topics Including ditching diet culture, sustainability and eating for optimal health

Having recently released her debut book “The Ultimate Body Plan”, Gemma Atkinson is known to many as an actress, radio host and Strictly Come Dancing finalist. Gemma will be speaking at Thrive Festival about her lifestyle changes using her 21-day plan.  She is the signature speaker for Saturday’s sessions.

Founder of The Food Medic, Dr Hazel Wallace, will be Sunday’s signature speaker.  She is a qualified medical doctor, best-selling author, and health writer. She will be inspiring us with her huge wealth of medical and nutritional knowledge and will give us tools to make practical changes to the way we live.

Technology has allowed us to work anytime and anywhere, yet we can struggle with switching off and recharging when outside of work hours. What’s at the root of this always connected habit? And how can we use technology in smarter, more effective ways? Aidan Healy, co-founder of UnPlug will share his insights and experience. The aim is to leave you with practical takeaways that you can implement at work and at home.

The world has gone declutter mad since Marie Kondo appeared on the scene. Thrive Festival has caught the bug too with decluttering workshops from Breda Stack.  Discover the biggest misconceptions about clutter and decluttering, learn why your decluttering efforts may not be working and get other vital facts and information so you have the clarity and inspiration to move your decluttering forward.

Intuitive Eating is having a moment and we have one of the leading voices of the movement Laura Thomas PhD talking at Thrive Festival. She’s a registered Nutritionist who isn’t afraid to tell it like it is. Having had her own strained and weird relationship with food, she now helps her clients build healthy relationships with food by helping them tune into their own innate hunger using intuitive eating.

What is self-care anyway? Bubble baths and spa dates with the girls? How do you actually implement self-care into your life in a practical way? The team from The Reset is ditching the fluffy slippers and busting the myths around this over used word. The Reset, founded by Lauren Healy and Vicky Shilling, was created for women who constantly feel too busy to prioritise themselves. Their talk will offer practical tools, tips and support to make changes in your life; from small and sustainable to big and transformational.

Other wellness experts at Thrive Festival include Sarah Leather, Taz Kelleher, Laura Agar Wilson, Alan O’Mara and many more.
